8231 Swedish Artillery

During the Napoleonic Wars, Sweden fought campaigns in Pomerania, Finland, Germany and Norway. After years of conflict with Napoleonic France, the Swedish army returned to the continental war in 1813 under Crown Prince Charles John (the former French Marshal Bernadotte) and served with the Allied Army of the North during the campaign that culminated in Napoleon’s defeat.
This is currently the only plastic 1/72 scale set of Napoleonic Swedish artillery. For this set, a more detailed approach was taken to the gun carriage: instead of the usual single-piece construction, the carriage is assembled from five components, allowing finer detail and a more accurate representation. The set includes four artillerymen, with one figure supplied with three interchangeable arm options to provide additional variety and versatility. Together, the distinctive uniforms, finely detailed cannon and flexible figure selection make this an unusual addition to any Napoleonic collection.
This set also comes with two cannon barrels, an ammo box to fit in the carriage and the ever useful extra bucket.
